Who we are
An industrial supply group built brand by brand.
EMS Group is the trading group of Express Matting Services Ltd, a private company registered in England and Wales and based in Burnley, Lancashire. We have grown by building specialist brands rather than one general catalogue — each with its own range, its own technical knowledge and its own customers.
That structure is deliberate. A buyer sourcing EPDM roofing membrane, anti-slip matting, engineering plastics or catering equipment deals with a team that sells only that. Behind the brands sits one group: shared stockholding, shared logistics and a single point of accountability for account customers who buy across more than one of our businesses.
We supply trade, industry, construction, hospitality and the public sector, from single-item orders to scheduled contract supply.

Our responsibilities start with the products we sell: goods that meet the standards they claim, described accurately, and supplied to customers who rely on them for workplace safety. Alongside that we work to cut packaging and transport waste, supply cut-to-size to reduce offcuts, and maintain a safe, fair workplace at our Burnley site.
